What is Graphical & Statistical Click Path Tracking?
Graphical & Statistical click path tracking sounds complicated, but it's dead simple to understand. It is a technique whereby users "click" movements on a website can be recorded on a database system and analysed. This is very useful for research purposes. One of our web developers is undertaking a PhD which will use this technique to analyse how to improve website users experience and the site's navigation.
In this example:
We used Graphical & Statistical click path tracking to record users' clicks on a website which aimed to subliminally influence visitors decisions. There were several instances of these sites, each with specific visitors. This helped to gain a better understanding of demographics and the ease with which different sectors of the public can be influenced using language deception.
This image is a screen shot from the administration section of one of these sites, and shows the forced choice (highlighted with a yellow arrow) being chosen 50% of the time. This is 200% what could normally have been expected.

This website is no-longer recording results, but if you'd like to have a look at it, please click here.
Spelling errors on this website are deliberate to aid in the influencing process.
